Potter and Professor: William Watson

William Watson was a ceramics artist who also taught at the Florida State University. With an M.F.A. from Ohio State University, Watson first taught in Georgia before coming to Tallahassee in 1949. He served in the Air Force in World War II, and his works were shown throughout the U.S. including the Syracuse International, the Miami Ceramic League, and the Contemporary European and American Decorative Arts exhibit.
