Today, the Randall-Lewis House is home to the Figg Engineering Group. Clifton Van Brunt Lewis passed away in 2014 after a long life of activism for art, rights, and culture. The Randall-Lewis House as artists' residence spanned from 1960 to 1970, housing a mix of painters, writers, realtors, activists, and international guests. Her legacy continues in the LeMoyne Art Center, the Tallahassee Museum, and her home, the Spring House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Historic preservation is a sustainable way to reuse the built environment to better serve its community and retain its placemaking abilities for future generations seeking inspiration in the architecture.
